Our Vacation 2006

OK well I'm not getting the photos to work yet so I'm just going to summarize our vacation!

We had alot of fun! We had water balloon fights and swam in the pool. Played put put golf, basketball, paddleball, candy bar bingo. Elizabeth took her bike and rode it a few times. The basketball court is great for making figure 8's!! The girls painted pet rocks and played on the swings! We were camped right next to the small playground so Elizabeth could play whenever she wanted!!
Donnie got to watch the Seattle Seahawks practice! He ended up going 4 or 5 times. I went with him once and his dad went with him a couple of the times. We got some nice pictures too.
Thursday we had reservations for dinner. We went to an Old west Chuckwagon Supper and a show!! It was awesome!!! The food was YUMM-O!!!! They did a Showdown and then a stage show, both were great!! www.RockinBRanch.com We will definately go again!!

We decided to leave camp Friday. Donnie had an itch to do some driving, get out of the state! So we took a drive to Montana. We wanted to go to a candy store, in Phillipsburg.
We drove to Deer Lodge, MT and stayed at a KOA Kabin there. Stopped in Wallace, ID on the way through it. The girls got to ride a hay ride while at Deer Lodge! Elizabeth was sooo happy!! Had a nice time there. It's a nice place to camp.
Went to Phillipsburg the next day. Got there found out they are closed on Saturdays! WHAT!!!!
Couldn't believe it!! So then we headed on our way. Had a very long driving day on our way to the Glacier National Park. Drove through a freshly burned area (32,000 acres burned), it was just aweful to see!!
Stayed at a KOA Kabin right outside the park. Left early in the morning and started the drive through the park on a road called 'Going-to-the-Sun' !! It was a nice, beautiful drive!
We stopped in Odessa, WA at a friend of the family's ranch house. Stayed the night there. Love that area!! Had a nice visit and then left the next day. Stopped in Leavenworth for dinner (to kill time til the rush hour traffic died down) and then dessert!
Then the final stretch of the ride home! We ended up pulling in just after 11:00pm!! What a very long day!

It was all-in-all an absolutely wonderful vacation!! Did alot, saw alot!!
Now to start planning for next years trip!! :)
