Our Vacation 2006 - Beginning

** For some reason I can't upload photos. I will add them later when I can. **

We are home now from our vacation.
We left friday the 4th of Aug. and went to Eastern Washington. We went to a camping resort just outside of Cheney.
We had a nice drive, took our time & enjoyed the sites. The girls kept busy with puzzle books and DVD's.
We got to the campsite before dinner. Set up the tent and screenroom then unloaded the car into the tent. They were both Christmas presents so we hadn't used them before. Lynda sat back and took pictures while we figured out how to put the tent up.

After dinner we finished unloading and checked things out.
Sat. was the day for extra activies. They did a wagon ride with Yogi Bear, Elizabeth wanted to until she saw Yogi, then she said No Way! Sat. night they have a dance party. Yogi Bear comes out and dances with the kids for a little while and then everyone dances for the next couple hours. Elizabeth had a blast! She loves to dance and there was a bunch of kids to dance with!

It was alot of fun!

Sunday, we took the girls to downtown Spokane to the Riverfront Park. They have a Carousel that is ALL handcarved. It is beautiful!

We realized while at the park that there was a festival going on. When we saw all the stuff the vendors were selling we were really curious what we had come too! Then we saw the signs!
" 2nd Annual Spokane HEMPFest "
While there we ended up watching an IMAX movie! First time Donnie ever saw on IMAX, it's great!!
We ended the day with Elizabeth playing in the paddle boats at the camp site.

Then we finished with Frog hunting! Donnie and I had noticed the night before that little tree frogs came out in the cool evening, and Elizabeth wanted to see them. So Sunday night we all walked around looking for them and catching them and putting them back into the greenery. She loved it!! We had to fight with her when it was time to go back to the tent!

More to come........Stay Tuned!!
