Itty-Bitty T-Ball

T-Ball was alot of fun! (even with the Rain!) The kids were so cute
watching them hit the ball and then run, well trying to run to the base
that they didn't know where was. haha!!



The parents played a large part as well. There was one at each base and
most parents ran bases with their kids and for the opposite team (playing the field) the parents stand with their kids to help tell them what to do.

They usually play 4 innings (I think), but because of the rain we only played 2 innings.

Afterwards we went shopping for Jacquie's prom dress! We got realllly lucky! Found one at our first stop and paid $20.00!! I could not believe it! So she also got new shoes and some jewelry. I will share a picture of her next weekend when I take one after she's all done up for the dance!

Well after shopping the last two days, I'm ready for a quiet night!

This Week

Well this week was pretty quiet. The weather wasn't to bad. We had overcast in the mornings and some days took longer for it to lift, ending with a foggy morning Friday. The fog lifted early friday so we had another great day that got quite warm!
Friday Elizabeth had Itty-Bitty T-Ball practice and pictures.

Aren't they soooo cute!! And if you look to the left of the coach(his right) you will see my lovely little girl, or should I say my SOUR PUSS little girl!!
When we were practicing all she wanted to do was bat! She didn't even want to let the other kids have a turn, they could all go catch her hits! Then it was time for pictures and she didn't want to do that! UGH! So, I can't wait to get the pictures back! Her individual is awful - she wouldn't smile, barely looked at the camera guy, and had a sour puss face ALL THE WAY!! (worse then whats in the group photo above! But I said keep it! It'll remind us and HER what she was like.
So today is their first "game". This should be reeeaaallllll interesting!! The parents usually help so I'm hoping I can get Jacquie to take pictures for me and DH since he has to work and will miss all the games! I'll share the game later or tomorrow. Wish us luck!! hahaha!

Garden/Yard Day!

Well you know, I could really get used to this kind of weather! lol
Another gorgeous day today!! With a slight breeze in the early part of the
day it made it quite comfy!


So today we spent outside working on the yard and Elizabeth worked on her "Garden" area! It's full of weeds and old flowers from the early spring bloom, so we had to pull it all out.

She started with alot of enthusiasm but didn't keep it long when she didn't want to do the hard part of the job. So I pulled weeds and she dug holes! lol


While we did this Daddy weed eated and mowed the yard. It's most of the way done, but after lunch we stopped because the sun was to hot to sit in like that.
Hopefully we'll have another day to do some more!

Fun-day Sunday!!

Well today was again another gorgeous day! The sun was out and the heat was on!
It was nice and warm (to some it was hot!). I had to take Douglas and his girlfriend,Kayla, into town to pick out his tux for the Junior/Senior Prom in May. It didn't take to long and we had fun. Had a couple other stops and then came home.
After we got home Kayla talked Douglas into washing his 'mud' truck. Guess who did most the work! lol

We had yummy dutch oven chili for dinner and then the kids ended the evening with another round of boxing! lol Everyone got in this time! I took pictures of each "match"! They were alot of fun to watch! Unfortunately you can't get the full affect with just the pictures.

Then we ended with Douglas and Kayla washing my car. hee hee!

Itty Bitty T-Ball!

Well its another gorgeous day today. Yahoo!!!
Elizabeth had her first day of Itty Bitty T-Ball today.
She got to wear her new stuff and couldn't wait to
get started!! She had fun playing catch with Mom
then they got to take their spots on the "field". They
took turns at getting to bat and then run the bases. It
was fun watching, some didn't have a clue! lol Elizabeth
wanted to keep playing and didn't quite like it when they
had to just do the bases run. That wasn't fun enough, I
guess. Then she got cold and just wanted to leave. We have
her next practice Friday, lets hope its better for her! lol

Spring is here!

Well at least for today it is, we'll see if it stays around!
I decided to take the kids outside this afternoon to play
for a little while. It was nice to see the sunshine finally and
for the kids to be able to go outside and get some fresh air!
These are just a few of the pictures I took while they played
outside.
In the first two Jacquie is playing Ring-around-the-rosie with
the little ones. Then they were kicking the ball around.
In the last picture douglas brought home a couple pairs of
boxing gloves home to use with one of his friends (for fun).
So Jacquie decided she wanted to box too! She did more running
and laughing then she did hitting!! It was tooo funny!!

Anniversary weekend getaway

Here is where we stayed for our anniversary. Its a little town in eastern Washington called Leavenworth.
