Starts friday at 12:00 noon with the kids day event. The kids come and get a free lunch (nothing fancy) and then there are activities for them to do. Then the carnival opens up for the weekend. Then saturday is the day for the parade. Right after the parade everyone (well not quite everyone) gets a Bear Stew meal. Theres booths all over of people selling stuff and several other food vendors with their varieties of food to try!! Sunday's are usually pretty quiet.
Well this year was a bit of a disappointment for us!! The kids day was not much! The "activities" they had for the kids were meant for a bit older kids. They had the big blow up things. One was the thing they get in and can bounce around in. Elizabeth was able to do that but the line was soooo long for what they got. The other one was a obstacle kind of thing. Poor Elizabeth could barely get through most of it and needed help on the other. That was it! I was not happy! So we went and she got a face painting! Thats the only picture worth taking the whole weekend!

I LOVE this photo of her! She just her, no posing, like normal or nothing silly! I LOVE it! BTW, yes she is happy too. For some reason just didn't smile!
The parade wasn't much either! Way way shorter then usual! Elizabeth liked it cuz she got a handful of candy!
So the best part of the festival was the Hungarian Elephant Ear vendor!! We look forward to him being here every year! He makes these elephant ears with sour cream, a ton of fresh garlic, chopped ham and cheese. They are to die for! They are the best around! It's the only time of the year we get them, so we go probably at least two of the three days for them!
Then on sunday Donnie and I went to another of our Mariners games. It was alot of fun! It was 'Throw Back Day' too so the team played in the 1969 uniforms and for the day they were called the Pilots! We were one of the first 20,000 so we got a souvenier Pilots cap. It was a great game and we won!! YAY!! We are now 4-0 for the games we've gone too!!! WOO-HOO!!
