Another Gorgeous Day!

So we decided to go to the beach!
We packed a lunch and a jug of water, grabbed some towels, picked up Jacquie's friend
Ashley and we headed on our way!!

Once we got there it was still gorgeous but the winds were blowing good and they were a bit cold.
We found a little wind blocker hut - made out of driftwood, and used that to keep warm.

We had fun. The girls tried playing in the water, but it too was very cold!! So we just sat in the sun and played in the sand.

Then we ate our lunch and went to the shops. We had to go get an ice cream! Yummy ice cream in a fresh waffle cone! We stop every time we come to Westport! Then down to get a bag of Taffy!
As we were leaving we decided to go over and take a walk on the 'Fishing Boardwalk'. Got to show Donnie where we go crabbing and see a couple people trying. Elizabeth and Ashley also got to see someone pulling up the crab pots for their first times. They liked that!
On the way home all three girls totally zonked! Must've played hard!
We had set the pool up with a little water to warm up, so when we got home Elizabeth wanted to play. Ronnie brought Wyatt over for a little while, so she could go to a class, and the two little guys had a blast in the warm pool water!!
All they did was splash the whole time! They both soaked each other!
It was another great summer day!!
